New study in offer - Acute Inhalation Toxicity.

New study in offer - Acute Inhalation Toxicity. The Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry, Branch Pszczyna introduced a new study to its offer, i.e. Acute Inhalation Toxicity based on the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals No. 403.

The aim of the study is to determine the level of toxicity of test items, i.e. to specify the relationship between the concentration of a given test item and its harmful effects, to assess specific toxic effects and to provide information on toxic activity of test items following an inhalation exposure. The study starts with a limit test.   If the mortality rate is 0%, the study is not continued, whereas if it is higher, a full inhalation toxicity study is conducted. The test item is applied at three different concentrations, including the one used in the limit test in order to estimate the LC50 value.
